31-07-2018 : Group II 2018 Notification will be published with in 15th August 2018 - TNPSC. 

09-07-2018 : Group 2 Notification with in couple of days - Tamil Hindu News Today. According to the news published by the Tamil Hindu Newspaper dated 09-07-2018,  the notification for the TNPSC Group II 2018 Exam for filling up about 2500 vacancies is expected to be published with in one or two days. It is also stated that, the existing pattern will be continued in the upcoming Group 2 Exam.

According the newspaper,  an higher official from Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has informed that  notifications for 6 examinations  including TNPSC Group 2 2018 will be published with in 15th June 2018.  He also informed that, all other exam notifications  will be published as per the Annual Planner 2018.

Group 2 2018 Notification in First Week of May 2018, Total Vacancies 1547 - TNPSC Annual Planner 2018

As per the Annual Planner (2018) Published by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), the Group  II Interview Posts Examination Notification will be published on first week of May 2018. 20-04-2016 :  Latest News in The Hindu Tamil  Newspaper about TNPSC Group II Preliminary Exam 2015 Result . This news states around six lakhs  aspirants who wrote the TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Examination 2015 are eagerly waiting for the result of the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Preliminary Exam conducted on 26th July 2015 for filling up 1241 Group 2 Interview Posts. 

TNPSC has informed in its annual planner published earlier in this year 2016 , the TNPSC Group Two 2015 Result will be published in the first week of March 2016. There are already 9 months over and if the preliminary exam result is published , there will be time for Mains Examination and interview followed by it. The Hindu news article compares TNPSC Exams with UPSC and SSC and states UPSC and SSC Examinations are conducted asper the Annual Planner and they publish the results also according to the annual planner and criticizes long delay in publishing results by TNPSC.  
The news says, TNPSC had informed last month (March 2016) that the TNPSC Group Two Interview Posts Exam Results are ready to be published and will be published soon. Since TNPSC is a constitutional boday, the election codes will not control it from publishing the results.

23-03-2016 : Group Two Interview Posts Exam Result is expected to be published soon. Election Code of Conduct may not bar TNPSC from publishing the Group 2 Result - Tamil Hindu Newspaper News Today. The Hindu (Tamil) newspaper article says that a higher official from TNPSC has informed that the TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Exam result is almost ready for publishing and can not tell the date of publishing the Group 2 Exam 2015 result. The Tamil The Hindu newspaper also informed that the result of TNPSC Group Two Interview Posts Exam 2015 may be published with in the end of this March 2016. Since, TNPSC is a constitutional body, the Tamil Nadu State Assembly election code of conduct may not limit the functioning of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) from publishing new job notifications or publishing results of an already conducted examinations.

TNPSC has recently published the some important Exam announcement like TNPSC Group 2A Non Interview Exam 2015  for 1, 863 vacancies on 12th October 2015. A supplementary notification for TNPSC Group 2A Examination 2015 was published 20th October 2015, by which additionally 84 posts were added with the Group 2A 2015 Exam. Now the total number of posts in the TNPSC Group 2A Exam became 1947 . Among the total number of TNPSC Group II A 2015 vacancies, Engineering Graduates can apply about Thousand Five Hundred Plus Group 2A Assistant Posts in various Government Departments which have educational qualification as any degree completed.

25-08-2015 : TNPSC Group Two Interview Posts Exam  Counselling Date Postponed - Tamilnadu Public Service Commission  has notified that due to Onam Holidays, TNPSC Group Two Interview Post Counselling dates scheduled on 28-08-2015 will be postponed to  29-08-2015. Counselling 
scheduled on 29-08-2015 will be conducted on the same day.

    28-03-2015 : Candidates in TNPSC Group 2  Exam (Interview Posts Exam 2013-14) final Interview will be called in 1:2  ratio - Clarification from TNPSC.

    Tamilnadu Public Service Commission  ( TNPSC ) has  announced Certificate verification for the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts 2013-2014 Examination. The certificate verification is scheduled to be conducted in the TNPSC Office, Chennai from 26-03-2015 to 08-05-2015. The candidates were called for the certificate verification in 1:5 ratio . It has created little confusion among the candidates, now the TNPSC Secretary has clarified that based on the certificate verification, the candidates will be called for the final interview in 1:2 ratio .

    25-03-2015 : Next TNPSC Group 2 Exam Notification to be published soon. The TNPSC Annual Planner 2015 says that the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Exam 2015 notification will be published on the third week of February 2015 and the examination will be conducted on May 2015. TNPSC Chairman on 04-03-2015 informed that the Group 2 Interview Posts notification will be published soon . Though he has not mentioned the exact date or month, we can expect the TNPSC Group  2 Exam 2015 Notification with in this March or April month . The total number of vacancies in the upcoming TNPSC Group 2 examination will be around 904, so start your Group 2 Preliminary Exam 2015 preparation from today itself . All the best !

    09-3-2015 : TNPSC Group 2 Mains Exam 2014 Result Published at www.tnpsc.gov.in Website. TNPSC has published the result of TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Mains Examination conducted on 08-11-2014 and 09-11-2014.

    Certificate verification for the TNPSC Group 2 will be conducted in the TNPSC Office, Chennai from 26.03.2015 onwards.
    List of Original Certificates to be submitted during the time of TNPSC Group 2 Examination 2013-2014 Certificate Verification 
    1. Date of Birth Certificate - SSLC / HSC or Transfer Certificate 
    2. Educational Qualification  - SSLC , HSC, Degree Certificate and Consolidated mark sheet 
    3. Tamil Qualification CertificateSSLC / PUC / HSC/ Degree
    4. PSTM Certificate (Persons Studied in Tamil Medium Certificate) -Only for the candidates who claim reservation under PSTM (Person Studied in Tamil Medium) quota.     04-03-2015 : TNPSC Chairman Informed today at TNPSC Office, Chennai that the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Examination 2013 - 2014 Results will be published in next week  .     During the visit to the TNPSC Child Development Officer examination centre at chennai yesterday (15-02-2015) , the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Chairman has informed that the TNPSC Group Two  Interview Posts Mains Exam 2014 Result will be published with in two weeks.

    The notification for Combined Civil Service Exxamination II 2013 - 2014 was published on 05-09-2013 and the preliminary examination was held on 01-12-2013 . The preliminary Examination results was published on 08-09-2014 . The TNPSC Group 2 Main Examination for the successful candidates was conducted on 08-11-2014 and 09-11-2014.     According to TNPSC's Annual Exam Time Table / Schedule  for the upcoming exams in the year 2014-2015, the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Examination tentative dates are given as follows 
    TNPSC Group 2 Notification  - 2nd Week of April
    2014Preliminary Exam Date   - 06-07-2014 
    Result of Prelims                    - 1st week of September
    2014Main Exam Date             - 2nd week of Dec2014 
    Interview Date                        - 1st week of March '14

    Now the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts 2013 - 2014 recruitment process is not fully completed. TNPSC has to publish the result of the main examination and following that there will be interview and counnselling. 

    Tamilnadu Public Service Commission may start the TNPSC Group Two Interview Posts Exam 2014-2015 recruitment process with in the end of the year 2014 itself. So it is expected the next TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Announcement may out with in this December 2014 .
